Council tax discounts for disabled

If you have a disability how much discount can you get off your council tax if you have the standard rate of PIP.

I'm not completely sure about this but I have enhanced and I get the same reduction as everyone else in my area from what I can tell? the only difference is, my Son doesn't pay rent or council tax because he's disregarded due to him being my carer.

Hi @Starlady! Every local authority calculates their Council Tax Reductions differently and have different requirements, so it's impossible to give exact guidance unfortunately. The link @WF2K posted to you has some information and you can also read the GOV information regarding discounts here. Your best bet is to contact your local council and ask them directly.
