I run my own cleaning business, I have recently been diagnosed with very high blood pressure and need to decrease my hours. Will I now be exempt from the minimum income floor and will UC top me up. My doctor has said my BP is due to the stress of the hours I am working.
Thanks

Hello @KarenGoddard and a very warm welcome to the community.
Your minimum income floor is set depending on your work requirements, so you'd need to discuss it with your work coach.
Your best bet is to submit 'fit notes' from your GP until you're sent for a work capability assessment. If found to have LCW you'll not have a minimum income floor.
I hope that helps but if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.0
