Hi,Who told you that the carers allowance will stop?Does your mother live alone or classed as living alone?0

Hi poppy that should have said my mum in law.. she is also receiving pip. my partner lives at home with her hes 43 she went to advice center to find out about the pension an was told that she would be losing money if im claiming carers also that she would be losing money if my patner is living with her0

Unless your partner is claiming a qualifying benefit like PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care then your mum won't be entitled to claim the severe disability premium. This means if you claim carers allowance for looking after her then it won't affect her benefits.

No my partner was on pip until last year his pip ended he was claiming esa until last wk an now in the process of making a claim for u.c.so me claiming carers wont effect any of her benefits i.e pension pip housing benefit etc.0

No, you claiming carers allowance for your mum won't affect her benefits because it's your carers allowance claim, not hers.
