    Hi,

Who told you that the carers allowance will stop?

Does your mother live alone or classed as living alone?

Unless your partner is claiming a qualifying benefit like PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care then your mum won't be entitled to claim the severe disability premium. This means if you claim carers allowance for looking after her then it won't affect her benefits.

No my partner was on pip until last year his pip ended he was claiming esa until last wk an now in the process of making a claim for u.c.so me claiming carers wont effect any of her benefits i.e pension pip housing benefit etc.

No, you claiming carers allowance for your mum won't affect her benefits because it's your carers allowance claim, not hers.
