DLA ending and applying for PIP

Thanks for sharing the news of your good outcome. Hopefully it will encourage others.  Anecdotal evidence would seem to suggest that those who have waited a long time or assessment, as you have, are those who are most likely to retain their awards.
 Logically, it would make sense for those with a low chance of retaining awards to have been assessed shortly after the introduction of PIP. 
That would save more money.
