    Well, let's set some stricter rules like change 2 letters max and add or remove 2 letters max, or a combination of both. ?
    And I'll start with ...
    abroad > agreed
    (I've only ever 'cruised' on the Isle-of-Wight ferry ?)

    okay people this is the rules.
    you can change one letter only. you can takeaway or add any letters. 
    The new word must be easily recognisable as coming from the old word. I’m the boss it’s my rules ? if you strike once you miss a go lol if you strike twice you must say 

    I’m a silly sausage !
