Esa asking for new sick note

in Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
Hello I was wondering if anyone could help I had assessment last Thursday after being on esa support group for a year nothing back from assessment but today had letter from dwp asking for new sick note is this usual

    But would still like to know if anyone else has experienced getting letter for gp note dispite being in support group thanks if anyone can help
