Hello @Staceyr90 and a warm welcome to the community. I wasn't aware that there were any 'grants' available through PIP, but I'm not expert on that. I'm going to try to forward your post to our benefits specialists and hope they will get back to you with advice.
Warmest best wishes,
Richard

Hi @Staceyr90, welcome to the community!
I don't believe that you can get a grant through PIP. However, you can use our grant search tool to find one that you might be able to apply for.
I hope this helps0 -
If your on esa you can apply for a budgeting loan .1

Hi, are you at risk of pressure sores? If so, then district nurses will assess you and supply a suitable mattress. The other essentials you need, may be available via an OT assessment.
Assessment, assessments....I know I`ve had several lately and am due some more soon.
Even if we can afford to buy some specialist bits of kit, it is always best to get advice from an OT/district nurse/physio etc...as they give the best advice. A dealer just wants to see something....personal experience here.

You can try this link https://www.disability-grants.org/grants-for-household-items.htmlYou can also try your local Authority who may have some household funding support in their budget but it will depend on what bed you want and the cost.If you do get a new one then you may want to look at buying a mattress protector, they only cost a few pounds and keep your bed like new.
