My daughter is 12yrs old, she is blind and autistic. She is very musical and loves to sing. I would  like some information on any organisations which offer music lessons for the visually Impaired
Thank you

    Hi 5ha8z

Please contact Amber Trust https://www.ambertrust.org/ this is a national trust aimed at helping blind children and those with additional needs to access music lessons. Even if they have nothing local to you they may be able to signpost you to something local to you.

Let us know how you get on @5ha8z. I've just had a browse of the Amber Trust website and it looks like a great resource.
    Thanks for sharing it @Geoark.

Hi @5ha8z, the RNIB have a page of support about learning music if you are blind or partially sighted.

    The page has the following:
    • Contact the RNIB Music Advisory Service
    • Finding braille music
    • ABRSM Braille Exam pieces for piano and flute
    • Buying and loaning music from RNIB
    • Music education
    • Employment with music
    • Music events
    • Music awards and funding
    • Reading music in accessible formats

If you'd like further information, or have a specific query, you can get in touch with RNIB:

Please do let us know how you get on. :)
