Disabled facility grant to extend a room

I’m a wheel chair user my wife is expecting our fourth child but the current children’s bedrooms aren’t big enough for a cot and are not accessible for me in my power chair , do you think I could access the disabled facility grant to extend a room so it’s big enough for me to see to the baby

HI and welcome,There's certainly no harm in trying but you will need a needs assessment first. However, there's a chance they will refuse because it may not be classed as a need to help your disability.0
