Hello everyone,
I am looking to purchase a tandem bike for my disabled daughter and I. She is 10yo and has mild cerebral palsy spastic diplegia and ASD. I have tried for many years with trikes and bikes but unfortunately although she is physically able to move the pedals she lacks the confidence to keep at it and master the art of riding a bike. When we have been on holiday, she has done really well on a tandem as I think she has increased confidence as we are in it together! I have had a look at the cost of special tandems and they are eye watering expensive!
my question is, does anyone know of any website or organisation offering resale, or the ability to hire such bikes?
thank you

Hi @j3nnys3d and thank you for your post.
It's nice to hear that your daughter has found tandem bikes enjoyable to ride! I am not sure where you are based but I believe the Lee Valley VeloPark may offer them to hire. I've not been able to find anything on their website unfortunately but I have seen many people using them near the VeloPark. Here is their website.
