Hi I’m joining this community as I have a 3 year old with suspected autism and is non verbal. Most nights he does not go to sleep till about 2 am which is hard. I hoping to talk to other parents in the same situation as myself.
thanks

Hi @vickyh - Welcome to the community. There are other members here with children on the autistic spectrum who may be able to help. There's also a section on Scope about ASD, which might be helpful.
Have you considered looking at the National Autistic Society for advice? https://www.autism.org.uk/
Please also feel welcome to chat to us all here absolutely any time, as we are happy to support you in any way we can. :)

Hi @vickyh and welcome to the Community also from me.  It's nice to meet you and thank you for sharing with us.  I see you have been given really helpful information and links from @chiarieds which I'm sure you will find helpful.  I hope you enjoy your time with us anyway and I look forward to seeing you on here.  If there is anything we can do to help/support you then please just ask.  All the best.

A warm welcome to the community @vickyh I’m going to tag @SparkleSheffieldAutismAdvisors to see if they can help. Please know we’re all here if you need us. Even if it’s just to chat.

    Hi @vickyh
Please could you let me know the area you live? I will see if Scope have a sleep service that could support you further.

    Thanks

Hi I know exactly how you feel. Our Autistic son did just the same but eventually grew out of it. Going to school learning routines and having some understanding of date and time helped solve the problem. Melatonin therapy had been suggested by some but we did not venture instead took a 'chilled' approach and touch wood it's good!
