    I'm sorry for your loss ?.  I know losing fur babies is hard.  I've grown up with animals my whole life as well.  We've had cats, dogs, hamsters, ducks, chickens, birds, ferret,  sugar glider, chinchillas, etc.. My pets kinda get along together. You know how they can be.  My dog loves to pick on my cat.  She likes to try to get to my bird too but I won't let her and neither will the bird. ?.

    Yes I suppose I've been lucky with the pets as they always seemed to rub along.
    One dog used to drag the ginger cats along the length of a long hallway by the tails. They didn't mind, and even ran to the top of the hall to wait for him to do it  again. :D
