    theres a superstition that if you spill salt you should pinch a piece of it and throw it over your shoulder, check behind you first I advise.

    @Dragonslayer - I'm never sure which way around it is, but 'Red sky at night shepherd's delight; red sky in the morning sailor's warning,' I 'think,' but it may be t'other way around. :)
