Already getting nervous having an injection in my eye tomorrow and then every month for the next 5 months
I have had this done before while it is very quick it's just the thought of it not the most pleasant experience

Oh @janer1967 - I can imagine your trepidation, & I bet it's not a nice experience. My best wishes also, & let us all know how you are afterwards.1

Will do @chiarieds if I can see that is0

Best wishes I would find that really hard I hate anything to do with eyes but I’m sure they have your best interests in mind

@66Mustang thanks I'm sure they do0

Not something to look forward too.
Do they numb the area first?
Had a cyst removed from the white of my eye once, but the thought of a needle in the eye without numbing first sounds horrific...best wishes...hope it all goes well.0 -
I know when I had the cyst removed the nurse assisting asked if they'd need whatever the thing is that holds your eye open a d she said "no, it's ok...but whatever you do dont blink for thr next thirty seconds" of course if someone's coming at your eye with sharp things all you want to do is blink!
Definitely think this deserves you treating yourself after each one...at least I didnt have to worry a bout having it done again...
Take care1 -
Good luck @janer1967. Please let us know how it goes.0

Hi all
It went as well as something like that could feeling a bit sore but I'm sure it will calm down over next few days
Thanks for all your kind words2 -
I'm glad it went okay @janer1967, best of luck with the next few days recovery
you've done fantastically, I still really dislike eye drops going in my eyes but what you've had to go through sounds much worse so well done0 -
Thanks @Ross_Scope I have eye drops in everyday and still dont like them its even harder to out them in a blind eye they end up everywhere/
Feeling lots better today the pain has gone away, I have had so many procedures done on my eyes over the last few years but you dont get used to it, in fact knowing whats coming is probably worse
Oh well just another 4 injections to go but I will do anything to keep what little sight I have0 -
@janer1967 Well done you for getting through it. I'm funny with anything to do with my eyeballs and really admire you for being so blimmin' brave. Take it easy today and reward yourself with cake if possible.
