Update on my Counselling Course

I have finished workbook one and have now started workbook two. It really does demonstrate to me what I do enjoy and what I don't. It has shown me the way to where I should be going in relation to changing up my job searches. I thought of broadening my scope, however, as a person who has just entered the later stages in age I'm not so sure its for me. However learning anything new is always a positive way forward in my book.

Thanks for the update @Butler356, I'm glad doing this is helping you figure out what you do and don't enjoy doing. How's work book 2 going?

Butler356@,Hi my husband is a drug and alcohol counseller he was a volunteer for over 16 years. However, where he was volunteering every Monday had to close because of lack of funds and he didn't do anymore counselling. However, he has just started a CBT course last week I have been encouraging him to do his level 3 in counselling. I can see that spark in his eyes again. I say this if it makes you happy giving hope to others especially during these times go for it. Your never too old if your a good listener, have empathy and can write your own notes you will be ready. Stick with it.?

Hi @Butler356,
How are you? I would really encourage you to just go for it if you feel you enjoy it. Please may I ask, how are you finding workbook 2? Thank you.0 -
Hi @Wini1960,
How are you? I just wanted to say that I am pleased to hear you are encouraging your husband to do his Level 3 in Counselling, I have both Level 2 and Level 3 in Counselling and thoroughly enjoyed both courses. I wish your husband the best of luck if he does decide to explore this option. Thank you.0
