I relax by knitting, not to sell but give to friends. I have a friend who asks me to knit various things for her grandchildren or at Christmas i try to find various new Christmas things. My son who lives in S, Ireland has to decorate his office and the best ones when a prize. This year i knitted him a large Father Christmas & Snowman to go with other items i knitted over the year.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I love knitting more than the crafts i try and make (i find it a little harder) that includes trying cutting out. If any other knitters need patterns and i can help you only have to ask.

At the present moment i have 3 projects on the go. My friend asked me to knit another shrug in black like the one i finished in white. A pom-pom blanket to try a new way to knit with the wool, and finally a set of 3 Catus plants for her birthday (Feb 1st) as her proper present won't arrive until 17th. By this time i will have decided what i will knit.0

I would love to learn how to knit and do crochet!0

Have you tried You tube i believe it has great instructions on how to start to knit. Before i had my stroke i could do the basic crochet but now i find it a struggle as i can't hold the wool correctly, so i have bought some rounds to try my hand at knitting with them. All this i found out by going on You tubd it might help you.0
