Hi and welcome according to the internet if you are on UC and your payment is less than £435 you can get free prescription
This is only what I have read on internet tho some others may have more knowledge0 -

Unfortunately however these rules do cause problems because claimants with variable income may qualify for free prescriptions in some months but not other which is both very unsatisfactory and can give rise to incorrect claims.
