PIP appeal for Asperger's and IBS

Hello. I'm new to this group so hopefully some of you lovely people can help. I realise that this has been discussed many times but just want a little help. My son is diagnosed Asperger's and he also has quite a debilitating gastro problem which prevents him from leaving the house. He was awarded PIP high rate care low rate mobility but on his recent review he scored zero point. Mandatory reconsideration the same so we're no going down the appeal route. I've written quite an extensive response to the healthcare professionals report as it did not at all reflect what was said during the telephone assessment (I was present). My son struggles with communication but because he can talk and read, he scored nothing. Is anyone aware of what examples we can use. I've already advised he has mentors and specialist study skills mentors etc. He is intelligent and this has also been held against him. He got GCSEs and a btec but without his EHCP and full time support at school and at college he wouldn't have been and to progress as well as he did. 
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know what the hearing is like as my son is anxious about attending. Thank you in advance and sorry it's a bit long ?

    Hi 

    The hearings are currently done by telephone not in person and will be panel of 3 a judge a doctor and disability person  

    It will no doubt be picked up by panel if he struggles with communication 

    Just prepare well my reading all bundle and what descriptors you think he should score more and why

    Thank you. It's difficult as like I say he talks all but his Asperger's makes it difficult for him to get his point across. Did instance, I go with him to all of his medical appointments, he's given consent for uni and his GP to discuss with myself and this is because he's not always clear in what he needs help with. I'm not expecting it to be an easy process and I've read everything in the DWP response. They also tried to contact him twice (according to their logs) but didn't contact myself although I'm his appointed person. Thanks for your response

    If you are his appointee you can speak on his behalf 

    Have you registered to be his appointee for PIP

    Yes I have. I was just a little concerned as to why they contacted him and not me. He did not answer the phone so I'm not sure what they wanted. I'm also his representative for the appeal
