Chatting Without Wanting to Date?

I am self isolating because of health conditions I have. Always been isolated but obviously its worse now, and I miss chatting (didn't do a lot but when I did I enjoyed it). So have been looking for online chat rooms where the emphasis isn't on dating. I just want to chat with like minded people (not people who swear every second word lol). I don't game. I know there's this forum but its not quite the same thing as a chat room.
Does anyone know of anything?

Yes I've tried googling for general chat rooms without a dating emphasis, and more specialist chat rooms for any interests I have. They tend to be empty or get very little use unfortunately. To be honest I'd love just a general chat room (I am not in my 20's) where you can have a chat about life the world and everything in it etc. I don't do banter so chat rooms for youngish folks are a bit difficult for me lol.0

I feel the same way! It’s nice to chat here but as you say it’s not a chat room! You can always chat to me though until you find someone more interesting!!2
