What’s the best place you have ever been to in the UK?

For me I think it has to be the Yorkshire Dales. A big area I know but hard to narrow it down from there as it’s all so nice.

I know it's not the UK but I loved the Isle of Man! It's so old-fashioned and everyone is so nice.

There's so many beautiful places.  I'm particularly fond of the Ceredigion Coast - the scenery, culture and those Welsh accents! While the old cities like York, Lincoln and Chester have a real atmosphere about them and I always enjoy pottering about the winding streets and taking in the architecture.  We really are lucky to live here :)

@Cher_Scope I agree we are lucky to have this country with its history and buildings and everything from nice countryside to busy cities, there is really something for everyone :)

I was never any good at geography but that makes perfect sense, woodbine, as I believe that national speed limit on single carriageway roads in the IOM is “unlimited” whereas in the U.K. it’s 60mph!

I have always loved the Wye Valley, but fairly recently fell in love with the Norfolk Broads. Hoping my holiday this year doesn't get cancelled again like last year.

In my home county (Norfolk), I'd have to say my favourite place is Great Yarmouth, purely because it is amusements galore, and the true tourist i am, i have to go in every gift shop  :D but there are more rustic seaside towns nearer to me which i love.

Further afield, i would have to say Skegness because it really is a lovely place and fun to be there. Scotland on the other hand, i'll never forget it's enchanting scenery, each lake was beautiful and unique, along with driving through the mountains. It was absolutely lovely and memorable! :)

@Ami2301 I’ve been to Great Yarmouth several times. It’s very nice there I agree. :)

I hope to go to Scotland soon to experience what you mention!!
