Nervous about every appointment I get..

Hello everyone and Happy Easter!
I have become a bit..not scared, but anxious, about any appointments I have..
I have my health-issues and diagnoses, but it feels that every time I see a specialist on any field of medicine, I get to add more into the ever growing list of my health records ?
In past 3 months, I had my hearing tested - Diagnosis Mild Hearing Loss
then got my eyes checked, cause the long lasted dryness didn’t budge - diagnosis MGD syndrome (meibomian gland dysfunction)
And yesterday I finally got my Orthopaedic appointment which I waited over 1.5years - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists.
Both eye- and ear-issues have been explained to be most likely caused because of the combination of me having Arthritis, Diabetes, my age (48) and menopause...effin great to be me hahaha! ?
All this..not necessarily the diagnosis since I have lived with them already some time, but the feeling that I am literally going to bits...
My gallbladder removal was postponed because of the lockdown, so hopefully getting re-booked soon.
Also got my first vaccination 3,5weeks ago.
That’s about me now..happy we are entering spring properly and fingers crossed this will be easier summer for us all ❤️

Hi there
Seems like everything is coming all at once for you they di say it comes in 3s
At least now you have diagnosis you can get the treatment you need

Hi @Crumbled72 I don't think we've spoke before so it's lovely to meet you.
Ooft yep, that does sound like a lot to contend with and it's understandable that the thought of a new medical appointment, under a different speciality, feels daunting. Let's hope that's your full lot now and your health records, and you, can have a bit of a breather! One benefit of getting diagnoses is being able to access support (including for our emotions), so make sure to speak with your care team/GP about what they can offer if you're feeling a bit wobbly.
Great news about having the jab and I hope your gallbladder removal isn't too far away. Do you have any plans for over Easter?
