I propose to start a new Community Interest Company, starting in May 2021. Can anyone help me with finding funds, operations, administration in fact everything.
The Company is called <moderator removed business name> and our target market is outlined on our executive summary.
I currently receive State Pension and Attendance Allowance at the higher rate.
Any thoughts, suggestions or advice appropriated.
Executive summary available on request to <moderator removed email address>
Thank you
Regards
Daniel

Hi @danielrwalsh
As per your other thread, I've removed your email address and business name from the above post as such detail is not allowed on the community - please visit our community guidelines.
Scope have webpages that advise where you can get a grant to help you start up a new business and also more general advice about starting your own business, so please do give those a look.
Thank you and good luck!0 -
Hi @danielrwalsh. CIC's are eligible for many (but not all) charitable funding grants, so it'd be worth looking at ones specific to your area of work. I used to work for a CIC that did work around getting people active, amongst other things, so we were able to apply for grants from funders such as Sport England.
You could also look into social investment as another source of income.1 -
Thank you. Your advice is much appreciated0
