Pain and lack of sleep making me feel really low

Well here goes not had a good night had bout 5 hours sleep which was sleep woke up in pain for hour and sleep then woke up in móré pain im fed up of this im really lőw today teary etc ??

    Hi @Ibelive2020, sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I've been exactly the same, spent all night in pain and praying for it to go away...
    You'd think that modern medicine would invent more effective pain killers. We can explore Mars but can't give people the pain relief they need... 
    I really don't know what the answer is but try not to despair. What else can we do? Take care.

    @oxonlady sorry tóo hear your in pain too sending hugs too you my painkillers áré (Removed, profanity) im on dihydocodiene and gabapentin plus paracetamol then on top thát daily i have too táke ceblerex and lansoprazole what painkillers are you on? Hope you takecare tóo xxx

    I've tried Gabapentine but it doesn't help me at all. I can't take codeine or Paracetamol as they make me very sick.
    I take the highest allowed doses of Diclofenac and Nefopam, with Lansoprasol. 

    I've got to wait another week before I see the specialist...
    No sunshine here today. What's it like in County Durham?

    Hi @Tori_Scope, @Ross_Scope and @lisathomas50, thank you for asking, the pain is horrendous and as you can see, it keeps me awake at night. I don't feel well and I really think that the doctors have missed something. I'm due at the fracture clinic on Friday and I really feel that my hip and shoulder are worse than the doctors think. I'm going to request MRI Scans and hope for the best...

    @oxonlady sorry your in pain hugs im thinking of you ? i know how you feel about The pain as i have had very bad day today pain wise i have already been refered for mri and ct scan just waiting on appointment xxx

    Hi @Ibelive2020, I'm sorry to hear you've been in pain all day, I hope your scan appointments come through soon.

    My GP said today that she's going to send me Fentanyl patches. I'm a bit hesitant to take Fentanyl as it's around 100 times more potent than morphine and I'm allergic to morphine. I suppose I'll try the patches and see, as I can't bear the pain any more.
