We had a pheasant in our garden which is unusual for a small town garden.
I’ve also seen rooks nesting in chimney pots where I live too, they actually go inside the pot and disappear from view. ? Nesting of course.1 -

Many years ago, we took our 3 children to a nearby coastal beauty spot. I sat high up on the cliff top while the family went rock climbing. It was a beautiful day, the sea was sparkling. All of a sudden, I heard the sound of a lone Bagpipe. I turned to see a piper playing a lament. It was a rare sight, surreal and beautiful. I will never forget it. PS I for love the sound of bagpipes.4

I was at a car show a few years ago, there was a guy walking about with a snake around his neck...handing it out to anyone that wanted to hold it! He also had a dog with sunglasses and a neckerchief...2

There's a guy that walks around Leeds city centre with a lizard on his shoulder sometimes!1

I'll have to keep an eye out for the Lizard man of Leeds next time I'm in town @Tori_Scope
I tell you what I always enjoy spotting when I'm out and about. A hot air balloon!
That's a pretty rare sight!!
p.s. Unless you happen to be at a hot air balloon show, of course2 -
I remember one time Mum was driving me home from school one day, and living in Norfolk, obviously surrounded by many fields, open land/etc.
There's this one particular stretch of road that has a house which is completely hidden by lots of greenery, anyway beside it is a opening for farm vehicles. As we approached the this stretch and saw a cat entering this driveway and as we got closer, out walks a pheasant.
My mind was blown, I legitimately thought the cat had transformed into a pheasant because the cat was nowhere to be seen!
Only in Norfolk2 -
Woman had big parrot on shoulder in a park.
Looked lovely with loads of red colouring.0
