Hi, my name is syswizard! Are 2 specialists from competing healthcare systems able to work together?

I had a PLIF about 5 years ago that was successful. This past year I was in need of more surgery as I could barely walk.
This new surgery was not successful. After 3 months of constant pain post-surgery, I decided to contact another specialist to review what the original surgeon had done (same surgeon for both surgeries).
Will these 2 specialists be able to work together given they are from competing healthcare systems ?
