Genie wheelchair

I hope this is ok to post here.
We purchased a Genie standing powered wheelchair for our mum, unfortunately she died shortly afterwards and hardly used it.  We would like it to be used if possible. Please contact me for more information.

    Welcome to the community, I'm sorry for your loss. 

    Have you considered sharing the item on Facebook selling or another widely used site like that? You will probably find more people in your area that way who might be able to take it off you. 

    Also, have you considered approaching the place where you bought it, in case there's any arrangement by which they can take it back and partially refund you?

    Thank you for your support.  We are coping ok. It's been a couple of years since she died. 
    We have started to post on local forums too, but is quite specialist so wanted to try to reach as many people as possible to try to find a home for it so it doesn't go to waste.

    Of course @s201wood :) I'm glad you're coping okay.

    Just a heads up that we don't allow advertising here on the community (e.g. if you were to post a link), but I appreciate that you want to spread the word widely. I hope that you find a taker! More general sites like GumTree or Preloved could also be an option, even though it's a piece of specialist equipment. You never know who might come across it.
