Does yr cat play hide n seek AND selective hearing?

LOL, last night I searched everywhere for puss AND he disappeared into thin AIR!! LOL he was asleep in the cat pram basket!! (New one on me!!)
If I call puss I don't normally get any response UNLESS a rustle of cat treats / bread wrapper (thinking it's treats) and opening a plastic container (thinking it's cat biscuits!) AND Din DINS keyword!!
LOL, if past dinner time he'll be at the front door anticipating FOOD !!! (no need to call !!)

Our dog definitely has selective hearing. If you call him he knows to wait but he will decide whether he wants to or not!1
