How long until I receive my PIP decision?

Hi there i just recived a copy of my pip assessment and have been awarded 8-12 points and was told that I'd have a decision within the next 4 weeks as its been so long since i applied, i was just wondering if anyone had experienced something similar to myself x.

Unfortunately there is no set timeframe for decisions, although its often within 8 weeks, its no guarantee.
It will differ from area to area and dependant on the caseload of the decision maker you are assigned to.
Unfortunately its just a waiting game.1 -

Hi @s1993case - & welcome to the community. As Mark says, unfortunately there are no set timeframes, altho the average is about 8 weeks. Usually the decision maker goes along with the assessor's report, but not always. Please let us know if you have any other queries.
