Can I make a new PIP claim whilst receiving PIP?

Applied last year 6th of April
went though the entire appeals process and finally got my enhanced mobility awarded on the 5th this month and am awaiting backpayment and first payments.

However I am not satisfied with not receiving daily living as I feel that is more relevant to my case. Am I better off appealing this to higher tribunal or is it possible to start a new claim over and go through it all again whilst receiving the pip? As I need to ensure some form of income as I am pretty lacking of funds right now.

Thanks.

    Hi

If you have a current award like you state you cant start a new claim

You can report a change in circumstances for worsening condition

Take note that doing this will start the whole process again  and you could risking what you have

It would need to be a significant change and would get expert advice b4 doing anything

You would continue to get paid at your current rate until new decision is made

@noobautist, as you must know PIP is a benefit to help with you daily living and mobility issues, it is not a benefit to generate an extra income. Your PIP assessment took rather a long time for the award notification letter to arrive . Are you saying you where not awarded any points for the daily living part of PIP. You are fully entitled to put in a change of circumstances if your daily living circumstances have changed since your last assessment you will need to phone the DWP and inform them you wish to apply for a change of circumstances. The process will involve a new application for PIP   You will continue to receive any current award but you will be advised that the whole award will be looked at again and the mobility part could be lowered or stopped altogether. I would take a self test of the PIP descriptors on the benefits and work site and see how you fair, but be brutally honest with you self assessment as any evidence, or  information you submit in your application will have to be justified at your phone or face to face assessment.
