Seeking work from home jobs!

I have joined Scope in the hope that it'll help me adapt back into work. I worked in a school for 7 years before several personal tragedies occurred leaving me with several mental illnesses, one of which being agoraphobia meaning I cannot leave the house. Despite over a year of lockdowns and companies all over the world proving that working from home is viable - I am struggling to find any jobs where I can work from home.
Any advice on how to seek jobs where I can work from home would be appreciated.

    Hi and welcome

The job market isn't at the best at the moment to be Fairford of people out there lost their jobs

Register with some agencies like Reed or indeed get your cv on LinkedIn and other sites

Indeed often have working from home customer service jobs advertised if they would be any good?

Hi @Katie94 - welcome to this friendly & supportive community. Scope has a programme to help people into work. Please see: https://www.scope.org.uk/employment-services/support-to-work/     we have heard very good things about it. There's also some info here: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/work-careers/looking-for-work/

Hope some of this may also help. :)

Welcome to the community @Katie94 :) Thanks for joining.

I can see that you've already been given some useful suggestions above. I'd definitely second the advice to look on some of the larger job websites such as Reed, Indeed, or Google Jobs, as many of them have a 'work from home' or 'remote working' type filter now. The Scope website also has a bit of advice on homeworking that you might find helpful.

I can see that chiarieds has pointed you towards our employment services too. Please do look into them to see if any of them would be helpful for you, and let us know if you have any questions.

Are you getting any support for your mental health at the moment?
