Got a copy of report back today, looks like I scored 0 points
Seems to be full of lies, and twisting things.
I have social anxiety, anxiety, depression and this has made me feel worse
Do I have to wait for the full decision before sending off a mandatory reconsideration  and how do I find the form, best way to fill out a mandatory reconsideration? thanks

    Hi there

Yes you do have to wait f8r decision as the report is only recommendations and the dm may not go with it though they normally do

There is info in our pip section about Mr and appealing

Hello @azza and welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that the report doesn't make for positive reading, although the decision maker won't necessarily go along with what the report says.

However, if they do, the letter you receive will contain instructions on how to carry out the MR, you will have one month from the date on the letter to request it (however that can be extended).

In preparation, it might be a good idea to start looking through the report to identify where you feel as though you should score points, and consider your reasoning and anecdotal evidence to support that in your MR.

You can find more information here on manditory reconsiderations.

The experience seems to have impacted your mental health, which I'm sorry to hear. Can I ask, do you receive support from your GP to manage your social anxiety, anxiety and depression?

    Thanks for your response @azza

I'm glad you have support from the mental health nurse and your GP, do ensure you access them if you ever feel like you need further support. Good luck with the MR.
