Does everyone get a call from the decision maker before they make a decision about MR?

Hi I am currently awaiting a decision about my (pip) mandatory reconsideration and I've seen/heard a lot of people saying they had received a phone call from dwp to check details before they got a payment or a decision letter.
I just wondered if everyone gets a call from the decision maker before they make the decision? Or is that something they decide to do if they haven't got enough information etc? I mean is a phonecall from dwp part of the process I should be expecting or can people get their decision without one? Thanks in advance! Take care and stay safe!

I done MR in the past and heard nothing,I just got a decision letter now this time around having done MR again i have had a missed call with a withheld number possibly them unsure..so they may want more details so they may call you for that reason or if not then they will send a decision letter.1

Thankyou for the replies peeps think I'm just going to have to slowly stop worrying or wondering about this stuff and wait for what will be? Just keep winding myself up trying to guess what they are doing with it for so long etc! I mean you would think if they wanted to say **** off they would do it pretty quickly like they did in original decision letter etc?! But even that is pointless no news is good news and all that jazz! But from what I've been getting from this site from many different people is there is no universal way they do things? It just have to wait til they make their next move! But wow I wish they would just hurry up and put me out of my misery whatever they decide I just want to know so I can move forward in some way? As I feel extremely stuck right now and that is never good! But I have to trust what is meant to be will be and that's that! I am sure if nothing else good comes of this whole process I have found this site and it's been so helpful for me just to be around people who understand me better etc? Oh and I will of learned a lot from you guys wisdom so always a positive if you look for it ??1
