Hi @rabi - & welcome to the community. I'm sorry that your assessment left you stressed, but these are the sort of questions they ask. Driving would show some dexterity & cognitive ability; keeping a pet would mean the ability to look after them, & in the case of a dog, take it for walks; having a banking app would show some understanding about budgeting, etc. So, I wouldn't worry.1

So they might not stop it then because I said I had a licence last time I drove was 6months ago did tell them that but banking app I do have but my family sort it because always loading things it so much worry with all you hear about I don't understand half what they were on about but I had to say I had banking app because I thought they already would of known that it terrible how they say you got to be stupid you answer a phone shaorly they got to allow somethings for people i think not right to treat you in away that you have to have no sense no life quite upsetting really0

Welcome to the community @rabi
I'm also sorry to hear you felt stressed and upset after your assessment. Try not to worry about it too much for now. As chiarieds has said, these are questions that many people get asked as they're a way of finding out information about how your condition affects you. Do you feel as though you were able to get across the information that you wanted to?

No not really I tried to explain she wasn't interested in my disabilities only how I can go to shop I told I don't do shops only local I told her always got family doing things for me but my ability was limited but it so many questions in different ways but I don't understand how they expect you to have a car have licence what about disabled cars how do those poor people get on I told her we live 7 miles away from nearest shop and buses route we don't come but I have sent them stacks doctors hospital letter but were that helps or not I'm not sure it play on my mind now until the decision is made because I don't have good experience with people the last one ripped me out of bed and kept on about achol he he likes a drink I told him I don't drink he was very rude at the time had vertigo and he pulled out bed my daughter report him but nothing was dune I don't know ? just have to wait but thank you for reply0

My pip claim is mostly mobility related but I was asked about school, qualifications, if I use the internet and other none related questions. They are just building a profile on you so they can understand you better. When you get the text telling you pip has received your report, ring them and ask for a copy. It will put your mind at ease and if they changed anything you said, it will give you time to gather extra evidence and prepare for a MR if the decision doesn’t go your way.I got my report a few days after the text and I’m already preparing for a MR for when the decision letter comes. She ignored pretty much half of what I told her, got creative with others and just performed miracles with my condition! If only she was a doctor rather than a nurse I’d be asking for her to treat me ?.It’s all about mindset. The waiting is the worst part! I don’t suffer from mental health but claiming pip is one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done! Over 7 months so far and it feels like a lifetime. I hope you get there bud but you can always turn to this lot to lift you up.1

Yes it very stressful ? you feel.like why are these people got no compassion and how can they overrule medical evidence that what makes me laugh ignore medical and go with there decisions were the law in that I just hope it goes OK because I can't cope as it is that money really I rely on to help1

My health assessment report recommends 8pts for daily living and 12 for mobility. Which for me is fine as it is more about the mobility as im
pretty much house bound atm. But the waiting to see if they will follow the recommendations is pure torture. More so after waiting 7 months just for an assessment! I feel like my whole life has been hanging in the balance just existing. So I fully understand where your coming from1
