Hi, I'm dollsky! I'm waiting for my WCA decision. If I'm put in the LCWRA group, will I be backpaid?

Hi there
Based on dates you give nov won't count as the note didn't cover whole assessment period
So dec to Jan Jan to Feb and Feb to Mar are the 3 waiting periods so first payment due would be Apr
So depending when you get decision and if awarded there should be some backpay for Apr , may and June0 -
dont know if the previous message sent so il send again. do they normally take this long to decide ? and thanks for getting back to me muchappreciated x0

There ate no fixed timescales for a decision the estimate is 8 weeks
They are extremely busy catching up with all the backlogs0 -

hi I was wondering I had 2 advances sent to debt management. the backdated money will they take back what I owe all at once?0
-
Hi again
They do normally try to recover any debts from back pay unfortunately0 -
oh right do they take all? or just some? as I do owe alot. around 2000.. do they normally take it all ? or just some0
-
They normally take it all and you get anything left over I'm afraid
One bonus your debt will be paid making your payments more0 -
I had my first WCA form in January. I got an assessment call on 1st March and a decision on 27th April. I asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration straight away and got the answer today. They still think I am fit for work. Appeal next, I think.0

Are you confident in knowing how to appeal @hughiemachrins?0

I think so @Tori_Scope. I have a friend who works for CAB and there is a Housing Association welfare officer who is also helping.1

Update: Got the text today to say they had received my PIP assessment report. Also today, I have lodged my appeal in the WCA case with great help from the Housing officer. So, waiting on two fronts now!0
