Good / Bad Inventions

Something I saw on the Jeremy Vine show this morning. I thought it could be a fun thing.
What are some of the good and Bad inventions you can think of?
Obvious good one - Mobile Phones.

    Good invention - Netflix  :D  

    Bad invention - The sports channels on TV!!! Controversial I know, but they have a lot to answer for in my household.  If I see one more hour of cricket, I swear  :s

    I think a bad invention is selling brand new trousers with rips in them.

    I don't see the appeal of it. Would you buy a brand new car but ask for it to be dented and scratched before you took delivery? :confused:

    Maybe if it was at a dramatically reduced price I would :D

    Same but with the jeans it seems ripped ones are MORE expensive!! :o
