Good morning everyone, I need some advice again, so next Friday I have my tribunal by telephone, and I've started to write down everything where I think the discriptors were wrong,in what would happen if I tried to do this or try to do that, the way I was feeling, the medication I'm on,the fact that I haven't left the house due to depression and anxiety, this has been going on for months, even before I had my assessment,I've only left the house due to medical appointments, which was a bloody scruggle, due to the pain level that I was in and still am in, and afrer waiting months, like 9 months, because of covid, which I now have, I've finally got an appointment to see a specialist as want to investigate, do bloods mri, literally prod me about to see what's going on, do I mention this to the tribunal, as the assessor states that I had no evidence of having an specialist input, even though I told them I was waiting for an appointment.

Hi there
The tribunal will only take into account your condition at the time of the assessment
That is the decision you are appealing not how you are presently
Also having a appointment doesn't really tell them anything
Up to you if you mention it but I personally wouldn't put much emphasis on it
Good luck for the tribunal0 -
OK thanks.0

Also if I am awarded pip, o they also tell you how long you are awarded for.0

Hi @Popdiva43 - I agree with Jane, your tribunal is based on how you were at the time of your assessment. Mentioning you are going to see a specialist for further investigation might also make the tribunal feel that you may improve, so I would be wary of saying anything about it.Yes, if awarded PIP, they will say how long it's for. If you feel your condition will keep staying the same, you could mention this at your tribunal to see if you might get a longer award. Best of luck with your tribunal too.1
