Do you mean pip or a unemployment benefit
The same criteria apply so wouldn't say it is any different only change is phone assessment rather than f2f
A big change is the length of time the process takes0 -
Its hard to get universal credit with my current condition so i have to try pip i'll see if they accept me if anyone else needs it good luck i'll let you all know soon0

Good luck and let us know how you get on0

You should be able to get uc if you are unable to work when you apply report a medical condition and provide fit notes
This will prompt the work capability process and will determine if you are found fit for work
As long as you are eligible to apply for uc
I would advise you do a benefits calculator found on gov website
You can get uc and pip0 -
UC is a means tested benefit. If you are on a low income, or have no income, you will qualify unless you are excluded by savings or other household income. The health assessment is to see if you are entitled to extra money.foryoureyesonly said:Its hard to get universal credit with my current condition ..0 -

Hi @foryoureyesonly - you will find a benefits calculator here: https://www.turn2us.org.uk/Some info about Universal Credit: https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit just follow the links at the bottom of each page to see more.About PIP; have a look at the descriptors to refresh your memory, & read the 'reliability' notes at the end about being able to do an activity safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly, & in a reasonable period of time. Please see: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Personal-Independence-Payment-Descriptors-and-Scores-April-2021.pdf0
