It would be amazing to be able to make friends with others in the uk. I'd like to get to know new people to become life long friends and someone new to talk to. I have a chronic illness /rare disease so it would be great to have others who have similar things so we can encourage each other to stay positive and make others smile ❤️comment below and tell me abit about you.

Hi @Tammyjane33
We've had two threads recently from other people looking to make friends, so you might like to check those out. Anybody who lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne looking for new friends people to chat to.??, and Meeting new people - anyone from the West Midlands?.
On top of using the community to find new people to chat with, have you had a look for any groups in your area? Websites like Meetup are a good way of connecting with people who have a similar interest to you. I recall seeing some groups set up by people with certain conditions looking to meet others in a similar position in the past, so it might be worth a look.0
