Have our checked her bank account? Payments are authorised at the same time as decisions are made and letters issued. Often therefore payments arrive before letters. Possibly local authority can see the decision on the DWP computer feed and their post is faster than DWP.0

Hi welcome to the community,I don't know in deph knowledge about PIP but from the sounds of it, it does look positive. If the application is with the high payment team then it looks like they are looking to authorise a big back payment to your mum and will be calculating it and getting the application checked and authorised by a higher DM who authorises big payments. It sounds like they have already made their decision but until authorised they can't inform you.I would expect you will hear back very soon or will get a payment very soon from them, let us know how you get on and goodluck0

I rang pip up on Wednesday and they asked me my bank details, if I ve been in hospital, or prison etc, does that mean I'm getting the award.0

If you want to give them a call back and ask them to clarify. Maybe the last person you spoke to who said a decision had not been made got it wrong?I would say if they want bank details confirming they are planning a payment it might have went to debt management first.0
