am i entitled to housing benefit?

hi @calcotti i have had many conversations, with DWP, i sent the tenancy agreement, and on Friday said they had received it, the woman would not say if I was entitled, but talked me through how I would get backdated and apologized for it taking so long, so i assumed it was happening, phoned them up today and they said they have not actioned it yet what does this mean, she said i would receive a letter this week with a decision, it seems as though im entitled but they just wont confirm it any comments would be great thank you
