Hi, my name is mssj! I was turned down for PIP, should I re-apply now that I have a diagnosis?

In September last year I was rushed into hospital d.o.a I'd suffered a heart attack a stroke had fluid on my lungs blood clots in my brain and chest. I am now doing much better with medication. But have today being diagnosed with peripheral artery disease after having Doppler tests. My cardiac nurses advised me to apply for pip I was turned down for it. Should I reapply now I've being diagnosed with pad

Pip isn't about a diagnosis but about how your condition affects you against the descriptors
Your functionality to be able to do or not do the task
You can reapply but need to complete the form with real examples details of what happens when you try to do each of the tasks
Have a look in our pip section there is lots of info on there0 -

Thank you Ross I'm doing ok at the moment . its taking some adjusting to all of the after effects of what happened but at least I'm still alive so thankfully for that0
