Has anyone had a positive decision for PIP over the phone?

Hi all, I'm unable to distract myself from thinking about the phone call my mum (appointee) has to make on Wednesday for what we're told should be the decision.

After almost 7 months of waiting, it all feels so scary and I've not been sleeping well. :'(

We were told that there was a problem with the post for the letter so it would be more likely we'd be told over the phone first and the decision would be read to us if we called on Wednesday.

For the phone assessment, the assessor told us that if I were to get an award I'd be reviewed every 18 months.

Has anyone had a positive outcome for PIP told to them over the phone?

    @woodbine I understand, I wonder why we were told it would be over the phone.

    Had to ring pip on Friday and there was a recorded message saying they were having problems with post and asking people to wait a couple of weeks before contacting...

    @Cress that's really reassuring because that's what we were told by the person who answered almost two weeks ago.

    @woodbine I think it was just the PIP helpline person who answered, my mum said she just kept saying that it was with the case manager and "all going through" and we should receive a text (which we didn't) but that due to the post issue, the decision would be given over the phone when we called back.  :/
