My daughter has been trying to ring PIP but their automated service keeps asking her stupid questions and she has to hang up. When she rings she give her DOB and NI number but further on in the call it keeps asking for the DOB of the person she cares for which isnt relevant to her so she has to hang up as the call won't move on.
Anyway she is just trying to find out why her normal payment off £354.40 was reduced this month to £333.03 she had an review assessment 2 weeks ago does anyone think it is possible her claim has been sorted. Ive tried to work it out for her but i can not find any 4 week rate that would match the £333.03 she is going out off her mind with stress and i don't know what to do to reassure her

Hi and welcome to the community
Sorry your daughter is unable to get through isbshe selecting the correct option at the start of the call if so try selecting a different one see if that gets her through
Her change in payment could indicate her review is complete and may include so many weeks at her old rate and some at a new rate
What rate was she on before1 -
Hi janer she was on enhance care.

OK try diff combinations of calculations eg 3 weeks at enhanced rate and 1 week at standard and see if you can get to the figure she has been paid1

Just an update my daughter has been awarded PIP again but it has been lowered to standard care she has been on enhanced care for many years but missed enhanced care by 1 point even though her condition is worse than its ever been. She is to unwell to fight it so will just leave it at that something is better than nothing, Thank you all for your advise and help

I’m sure she’s on standard for both as this would be a payment of £ 334.801
