    No said I can get it over the counter I got 90 tablets from chemist for 4.90
    Many GPs won’t prescribe stuff that are freely and cheaply available over the counter. I think it’s been like this for a long time now.

    Yes that’s often the case.

    I was given 4 points for needing prompting to eat due to lack of motivation from depression and anxiety about talking to housemates. My GP didn't see me, so didn't know. My counsellor did include it in her letter tho.
    @Waylay
    That's good to know...can I ask were you asked about your weight?

    I also scored points in nutrition for 'prompting', which isn't really true in my case but must just have been the best fit.  I've been underweight for the last decade and my low BMI was confirmed by a dieticians report.

    I've put in another dieticians report for the review, showing further weight loss, so I would expect the same points for that again.

    Thanks for that @OverlyAnxious

    I'm neither under or over.
    I'll argue for the points, I'll also mention sedentary lifestyle because of mental health.

    I'll mention the vitamin and iron deficiencies...but I'll not depend on any of it for points.

    Hi @Cress

    Having looked at my paperwork, I got those points at tribunal, not assessment or MR.

    The assessor gave me 0 points. He said I "looked well-nourished" (I was ~12lbs underweight and I'm slender at my "normal" weight, so I was very thin).

    He also noted that I had no involvement from a dietician and said that showed that I had no problem with eating. Actually, I had been referred to a dietician due to having multiple vit and mineral deficiencies and was on a waiting list, which I wrote on my form and told the assessor.

    I was also being prescribed folic acid, cholecalciferol (vitamin D) and high-dose iron tablets by my GP due to deficiencies, and he had advised me to buy magnesium supplements because I was deficient in that, too.

    The assessor also disregarded a written statement from my partner, which detailed how he had been bringing food by and getting me to eat it at least 3 days a week.

    The tribunal gave me 4 points without even discussing it.
