Letter after PIP assessment

Hi all,
I'm currently in the middle of a claim for PIP.
I have moderate hearing in my left ear, and severe hearing loss in my right (amongst diagnosis for mental health)
I had my telephone assessment on Monday, and a text from DWP on Tuesday saying report was received.
I rang for a copy of report on Friday, which they're sending out, however I feel the assessment didn't go well at all.
I'm hopeless on the phone & describing stuff in a conversation.
I'm considering writing a letter (though I put a lot of detail in the original form) about how my deafness & depression affects me in daily life.
Would it be worth writing at this late stage?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

    Yes,
I use a hearing aid for my left ear, and they're unable to provide one for my right since I keep getting recurring infections and an aid would be no help at all. At my last doctors appointment they put me on the waiting list for a CROS hearing aid.
I did phone DWP and they put a note on my file about the new diagnosis, & told the assessor, but I just wanted to explain things in more depth to them.
I have a letter from the hospital (also sent to G.P) as evidence, should I send that in too?
There's constant tinnitus in my right ear which wasn't asked about in assessment.
    Thanks for replying

Right, so a letter covering things in more depth would be useful then?
I've never even touched on things like having to avoid getting water in my ears (increases chances of infection) which has been since childhood & being panicked about showering & washing hair because of it.
There's a whole list of things when I think about it, and trust me I've been doing that!
Many thanks for your replies Mike.

    Thank you.
Well, I've written what I can and there's 4 pages of it(!).
All headed and underlined, so hopefully it will do more good than harm. I did have quite a bit of detail in the first form, but I felt I had to be putting more in.
Thanks again for your advice, it's been appreciated.
