Does anyone else have hemachromotosis?

So, after searching the forum, it seems that most posts on the above condition are around 3 years old. I wondered if anyone wanted to discuss this condition now?

I was diagnosed 11 years whilst pregnant. I was an older Mum, so underwent genetic testing. Found to have 2 copies of C282Y. My ferritin  level was 555. 

I may be able to help with any questions a newly diagnosed person has, and it may be that other people may be able to share their knowledge.
