I won a PIP tribunal in July, and still haven't had any payment or letter

hello I won a pip tribunal in July and it s been 7-8 weeks and still not had any payment or Letter about payment apart from one that says I get £10 Christmas bonus but nothing about payment or when payment is..

HI,They may have requested the Statement of Reasons and Record Of Proceedings. If they have then this will delay putting your award into payment and recieving any money owed. They sometimes request these but rarely appeal it.Give them a ring Monday when they open and ask.0

It can take a while. DWP have a right to appeal to the upper tribunal if they wish so someone at DWP has to decide whether or not they wish to request a statement of reasons in order to be able to do that or whether they accept the decision. The only way to find out what is happening is to ring DWP.0

They can only appeal on error of law and as stated, they rare appeal any decision. They do have as much right as we do to appeal any decision. Like us they must first request the SOR and ROP. If they have requested these it may take some time for the judge to write it and send it to them.
