I sent my PIP MR letter on 2nd August, but haven't heard anything. What if they don't receive it?

Hi I sent my MR letter off on the 2nd August but haven't heard anything yet. I phoned today and was told it wasn't on the system yet. They said they would apply a MR to my case and that my letter would be added when they receive it. What if they never receive my letter, it has extra info about how my condition affects me.

    Hi there

I think it will turn up the post is taking ages and there are backlogs ar dwp getting post scanned on the system

Some are reporting 4 to 5 weeks since posting

If if is lost you will have to send a copy

Don't worry @effie678 - registered post isn't needed, as this would just be signed off at a Royal Mail collection centre, not by the DWP. For future reference just get a free Certificate of Posting from your Post Office. Regardless, the fact you have a copy of your MR letter is great.

An update. I phoned today to see if they had received the letter I sent as part of my MR. I posted the letter on the 2nd August and they received it on the 26th. At least I know now they have it. Fingers crossed it helps ?
