Hi everyone
We are looking for a respite carer for our daughter. It has become impossible now to take her on family days out and holidays due to her behaviour. Her siblings are suffering in the long term because everything is focused on our daughters behaviour or the threat of it.
We do get direct payments but it is impossible to find someone in the essex area.
Any suggestions please?

Hello @suzysu68
Welcome to the community, how are you today?
I am sorry to hear of the challenges you are facing at the minute, it can't be easy at all. I hope the above links have been helpful, and you also might find this page on the Scope website useful, as well as this one from the NHS which contains details about respite care.0
