I applied for PIP on 4 June 2021 and haven't heard back. What should I do?

I applied for pip on the 4th june and have not heard anything what should i do

    Hi and welcome to the community 

    You don't need to do anything pip claims are taking around 10 months to complete currently 

    There are huge delays in some areas 

    Have you had a text to say they have your form if not maybe give them a call to check 

    You will be waiting for a assessment date could be around 6 month waiting

    You will either get a phone call or a letter to arrange a time and date for face to face assessment or an over the phone assessment depending on Covid etc. I had over the phone assessment beginning of this year which I was denied but appealed and got it back. Whenever you get assessed and if you get it, it will be backdated to the date of the claim. If your unsure about what’s happening as it’s 2 months since your claim give them a call to see if they’ve got your claim form. Don’t forget if you fail appeal. Good luck.

    Hello @mcs3365 How are you today?

    Unfortunately as others have mentioned, there are backlogs with PIP claims across the country so it may be a little while until you hear about an appointment for assessment.  Did you receive a text confirming that your PIP2 form has been received?

    Hiya! I applied at the end of may 2021 and i rang up today and i have a phone assesment on wednesday maybe ringing them up and ask whats happening with your claim :)

    I applied in March only had my assessment end of August
